Lexington and Boston Local Events in January
I bet all of our Eastern Massachusetts readers have been waiting on the edge of their seats for our Local Events blog in their area! Once again, our lovely staff has put their heads together and are sharing some of the best local events in Boston, and Lexington this month.

Boston Harbor Hotel Wine Festival (January 9th – March 27th)
Enjoy food & wine pairings at Boston Harbor Hotel. The event will feature intimate winemaker hosted dinners, brunches, seminars & receptions. Don’t miss out on the exciting events featured at the Festival including many of the best wineries & top personalities. Sample more than 50 wines from the many wineries, & savor selection.

Lexington Bicentennial Band Winter Concert (January 25th at 3pm)
Visit the Lexignton High School Auditorium at 3pm January 25th for what is sure to be an impressive winter music event. There is no admission fee, but donations to the band are welcome! Songs played will feature “The President’s March” and “Winter Dances”

Taste of Chocolate Festival at Harvard Square, Cambridge (January 23rd – January 25th)
Embark on a 3-day chocolate extravaganza in Harvard Square because who doesn’t love chocolate? Various restaurants in the area will feature chocolate appetizers, entrees, deserts, and cocktails. Along with all of the specials happening, there will also be chocolate deals.

Boston Wine Expo (February 14th – February 15th)
Do you like variety when it comes to your wine? What about trying something new? This is the perfext place to do it with more than 2,000 wines from over 200 wineries from around the world. There will be also be a grand tasting with wine & food samples, cooking demos & 25 Seminars. Wine lovers can visit the Vinter’s Reserve Lounge where you can sample rare & expensive vintages before taking it home. On Valentine’s Day weekend this event is great for couples and single people!

Polar Plunge for Polio, Gloucester (January 31, 2015)
The Lexington Rotary Club is one of many groups of people taking the Plunge for Polio on January 31st in Gloucester. If you would like to go watch it is sure to be a spectacle. If you’d like to donate, check out our VP of Sales and Marketing David Siekman’s page here. It’s for a great cause!
