Prepare for National S’mores Day

automobile insurance MA

August 10th is National S’mores Day and while I didn’t know it existed until recently, it is already climbing the list of my favorite holidays pretty quickly! I wanted to give you a week’s notice so that you could plan a camping trip to celebrate. Don’t worry there’s so many great places to camp in the Massachusetts area, chances are you won’t even have to go far. Have I convinced you that it’s time for a camping trip to celebrate National S’Mores Day? Well, there are two things you should do before you go. First, make sure you have the right car insurance before you head off on a journey with a car full of family or friends. Don’t worry about this one, we have you covered. Give us a call or fill out the form today for a quote or to have an agent go over your existing coverage with you.

As far as the second thing goes, we can help you with that too. Traditional s’mores are great, but why not try some new recipes in honor of the holiday? We have you covered with some exciting new takes on the traditional s’more with s’more recipes:

  • Chocolate chipped cookies stuffed with s’mores
  • S’mores cookie bars—these you would make in the oven then pack up for your camping trip. Good to have as a back-up if the s’mores don’t come out as well as planned.
  • Golden Graham (instead of graham crackers) s’mores
  • Peanut butter s’mores squares—if you love peanut butter as much as you love s’mores, you are obligated to try this one.
  • S’mores oatmeal—considering the holiday it’s only fair the kids have s’mores for breakfast.
  • S’mores cones—fill the cone with marshmallows and chocolate then cover in tinfoil and put over a fire.
  • S’mores with Hershey’s Kisses—you can put these right on a grilling tray or the grill itself (less messy alternative).

Now that you are armed with great auto insurance coverage and all the s’mores recipes you need, have a Happy National S’mores Day!
