Danvers, MA

There’s no shortage of spooky sights in Danvers. Danvers State Hospital is a notoriously haunted site. It was used to film the horror film “Session 9”. A mental hospital opened in 1878, it was known for its gruesome conditions and questionable medical procedures. The hospital remained open until 1992 until later being transformed into an apartment complex. And then in 2007, fires began mysteriously breaking out in the building without reason.

If you decide to visit, the original facade still remains, along with the cemetery and the exterior of two wings. And while you are in Danvers, be sure to check out the Salem Village Witchcraft Victims’ Memorial

Fall River, MA

Fall River is home to the Lizzie Borden House. It’s the original home where a 1982 double-murder took place. Nowadays, it’s a hotbed for paranormal activity. It’s hosted numerous paranormal activity shows and documentaries. Visitors are welcome to take a tour, and for the particularly daring, can book a night in the Bed & Breakfast.
