Summer Do’s and Don’ts: Pool Version
Growing up, my grandparents had a huge in-ground pool at their house, which meant my sister and I spent almost every waking moment in the water. We had such a blast! It was a fight just to get us to eat because we didn’t want to get out of the pool. And what’s summer without a little fun in the water? Here are some fun game ideas for a pool party, or just plain pool fun:
- Scavenger Hunt
- Ping-Pong Scramble
- Fruit Hoops
As fun as pools can be, though, they can be huge liabilities. If a neighbor’s child should get injured at your pool, even if they are uninvited, you are liable. You need to protect yourself from the potential losses of a lawsuit by raising the liability limits of your Homeowner’s Insurance Policy or by purchasing a Personal Umbrella Insurance Policy. Both will offer you coverage in the event of a tragedy at your pool for which you will be held liable.
Talk to your Encharter Insurance agent today about your options for increasing the coverage for your home. They can help you find the best possible policy for the best possible price and, should something happen, they will be there to help you sort through the claims process. With Encharter Insurance, you’re not alone!
And of course, if you have any questions about your personal insurance policies in Massachusetts or Connecticut, we’d like to help with that too! You can call us at 888-865-1244 or you can visit us online. And now, you can find us on Twitter© and Facebook©!
